Hi there I have a heuffelii named 'Geronimo' that I bought from Perennial Obsessions last clinic, so I haven't had it a year yet.
I can't locate a photo of it during the summer but I remember it being green with red tips (not like huef. 'Xanthoheuff'
Anyway this is what it looks like today - it is wowing! As well as blooming!

@Valleylynn @Goldfinch4
Are you aware of a known issue for 'Geronimo' (did people have it in the past and it was determined to be a NOID?)
I'm going to wait and see what this plant does this summer but I'm loving it right now!! I hope it is a correct plant! nodding Whistling I tip my hat to you.

Hi Greg,
I see that SMG Succulents lists it, and shows a photo, one can click to enlarge, the rosettes look green with reddish brown tips. SMG's description is "Medium sized shiny maroon/red leaves fading out in cooler weather. C.W. Nixon, 1980".

So I riffle through a large binder of Sempervivum Fanciers Association Newsletters from 1979-1987, published by C. William (Bill) Nixon. Volume XI, No.3, September 1985, has an article on his Sempervivum and Jovibarba cultivars, the brief entry for 'Geronimo' is:
"(CWN 80.46) Another of my hybrids of unknown parentage, this plant was introduced around 1980. It has shiny red leaves but does not hold this color all year. It appears to be another offspring of 'Pallasii', but this is by no means certain".

Thanks Mark - yep that is exactly what mine looked like last summer and now this! It is possible that I mixed up labels, but I really don't think so. We will see what happens Thumbs up

I got 'Geronimo' from Lynn last year and it looks nothing like yours. Some combination of green and red as usual.

Thanks Tim - wonder why Lynn doesn't have it listed in her plant list?
I tip my hat to you.

Correction... sorry... I was thinking of 'Muskateer'. I got 'Geronimo' from a commercial source, maybe MCG. It's not in my plant list either. I'll fix that.

Here's my 'Geronimo' this morning looking a bit ragged but quite solid and healthy nonetheless. I recall last year thinking that it looked very promising. Of course, it wasn't so completely red until winter.

I don't have 'Geronimo', but here is a link showing it in different seasons. Unfortunately there are no winter photos. http://sempervivum-liste.de/Jo...
