It's been about a month since I had my Jade Pothos. Lately I've been noticing specific leaves splitting or showing tiny little brown/yellow dots. Some of the new baby leaves that are already there or is just coming in look crinkled up. I just don't know what the cause of these things are from.

Some of that looks like mechanical injury. Do you have a cat, a parrot, or?

I don't see anything particularly concerning in the photos you provided. Plants, like people, are never perfect and will always have some minor blemishes, wrinkles, spots and other imperfections. A photo that shows the entire plant so that the imperfections can be seen in context would be helpful.

I have children but none of them go around the plant. I guess I'm overreacting alittle, this is my first plant ever, and I don't want to kill it lol.

Stay focused on the big picture and don't get lost in minor details. Same with kids! Smiling
