As soon as I can I will list a wishlist also. Working on it. Some things have to be taken off. And like Val, I'm really happy there are wishlists too. We really do read them and try our best to come up with some of it. Smiling

Just a quick question. Can anyone see the full trade list even if they're not signed in to the swap?

No, I believe you have to be sign up/participating in the swap to see the full list of offerings in each swap

I just added a bunch of basils to my swap list. I had no idea how many varieties I had until I dug into the herb box. Shame on me for hoarding so many seeds! I'm glad basil seeds are viable for 5+ years as there is still time to share them. I also deleted a few from my wish list as I certainly do NOT need any more basil seeds at this time! Well, I do have a few more coming in the Red Barn Swap. Whistling

There are lots of basils I don't have, but, yes, I did go a bit basil crazy.

Lately it's been beans and winter squashes. I am on a quest for a green bean that tastes good and has a pleasing texture after being frozen, and so far many varieties have failed. Sand Hill Preservation touted Slenderette as being a good one for freezing, but it turned to mush for me no matter how long or how little I blanched it.

We love winter squashes, and again I am searching for one we like as well as Ambercup, a hybrid that I can no longer find seeds for. I hate how some of our favorites just disappear without warning. Merced and San Remo tomatoes were two of our favorites. I searched for years for seeds with no luck, but this year I found San Remo seeds and a supposedly OP version of Merced. I'm excited that we might possibly have those tomatoes or very similar ones back in our garden.

Good luck with finding a good freezing green bean Patricia. So far, the calima french green beans actually freeze well and cook well. They have been my favorite for french green beans. Now, regular green beans, let me know. I don't blanche mine before freezing though. I clean thoroughly, snap and bag.

I have Calima and Cantare bean seeds to try this year along with a few others that I have not grown before. Thanks, kd, for the info on Jade. That's another one to add to my list. And yes, my bean list is probably as long as my basil list!

I adore basil's but admit I have not ventured out with many varieties...guess it's time to change that
