These beds are on the other side of the driveway and were planted last fall.

I'm loving your pics of spring. I'm looking out at the snow falling and wondering when I can see some of these signs of spring. I know it will get here some day.

When your spring comes, it will be too hot to go outside for us...but of course, we have to plant irises, very early in the morning before the heat comes. I think that I will put mine in pots first, then plant them when it gets a little cooler.

Still having doubts about rainfall - we're under normal amounts, but much better than recent years.
Your spring will come along and we can admire your signs of spring!

Raining here, which is pretty typical for February. We are in a moderate drought still, but making ground.

Lilli, I was raised in a place where it snows. I still miss it. A little!

Saw my first ladybug yesterday. It was warm enough to sleep with the windows open last night.

We woke up to an inch+ of new snow and cold west winds. We have to wait at least two more months before spring!
For the time being this is what we are looking at. I can't wait to see some "green".

I have not had any snow this year so far, I did have a two week period of very cold weather but no moisture falling.

Today, snowed a little. But yesterday was gorgeous (in the low 50s). I feel so bad that yesterday I didn't go outside very much. I regret it because today is too cold. Someone used to tell me that February is the coldest month, and I do agree with her, it is very cold in February. I don't know about other places , but Nebraska seems like it is. I'm dreading it. I am happy for some of you people that see signs of spring, and feel bad for the ones that don't. Don't worry, spring is just around the corner. My stepmother always told me that I am very eager to start gardening at this time of year. Because there's nothing really to do yet STILL! And I am very excited about gardening. By the way, Tuesday, February 6th, is my stepmothers birthday, I can't wait! I might give her some money to buy more daylilies. She loves 'em! She is also a member on this site too.
