Hi everyone,

I'm terrible at identifying flowers. My friend took this cool photo on his vintage camera of me holding this flower and I've always wondered what it was

My other friend suggested a Dahlia but the leaves don't match.

The flower bud hanging down makes me think it is a poppy of some kind.

The leaves are poppy leaves. Maybe Papaver somniferum
