Houseplants forum: Enormous fiddle leaf fig

This huge fig tree is at my local zoo in the open bird enclosure and I didn't notice it until today for some reason. It's absolutely beautiful and over 2 stories tall. (Not in picture is simaler sized ficus Benjamina and burgundy rubber trees)

I'm sorry, but this is a good example of bigger not necessarily being better. The trees here should have been kept pruned regularly, starting long ago. Now they are overgrown, pushing against the roof and have lost most of their lower leaves. This is very poor plant maintenance in a public or semi-public space where the plant care should be better and done professionally.
