That soup, in February, who can beat it? So the letter I, is for Iris, Ixia, Ippomopsis, itcetera, itcetera. Its often a bit sparse in the soup, but I suspect not THIS soup. Here are my first offerings for I.

Iberis, the purple one. Don't ask.

Ipomea purpurea, I realize this genus makes people curse, but it is pretty.

Starting with a smattering of Irises, starting with four Siberian Irises.

Then a Cristata and a Reticulata:

I'll save the two Japanese Irises for the Letter 'J'.
Now for some of the Tall Bearded Irises.

Wild impatiens - - juice therefrom is beneficial on skin exposed to poison ivy.
Also called Touch Me Not ... if mature, seed pod can explode at a touch.

- Often grown in Butterfly Houses

< note - Don't remember if I used this pic before. I confuse myself sometimes.

Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.

Just came across this plant in my files from my sister's garden in Quincy, WA
The very, very Tall Morning Glory - so tall that I had to put it into two photos.
