This is the rare Salvia sphacelioides. That is its name. Naming it as Furry Colombian Sage will only cause confusion, and is probably being used commercially to encourage more sales. I don't like that.

I submitted a proposal to take it off (Furry Colombian Sage) and just leave it as Sage as one of the common names (besides Salvia).

I got it from FBTS for this Salvia.
