Fuzzy foliage fascinates me. I think AV is the was my first foray into fuzzy foliage fondling. For fun, fellow fuzz followers, let us fawn over your fine fotos of fuzzy foliage! What do you have, want, remember? :+)

Kalanchoe Fang, is mine the same Tiffany? I thought it was a beharensis.
Feel free to correct any mislabeled ones of mine.

No ID for this one, anyone knows? Thin leaves and slightly furry.

I also have the one you have as Fang. I've always thought it was Beharensis, but maybe it's changed?
I just looked it up. Fang is a type of Beharensis, but the Fang one has bumps on the bottom of the leaves. Mine doesn't.

Nice! I've never seen the ones with bumps. Mine grows so quickly that I'm always having to behead it and start new plants.

I have been enjoying the fuzzy pics.

Faridat, I am guessing your hairy Echeveria is "Doris Taylor" and not setosa (one of its parents). If that's true, it will enjoy a much larger pot (up to 8 inches/20cm for a solitary plant).

Another random hairy Echeveria out in the rain....

Thumb of 2018-02-15/Baja_Costero/19dbfa

And a Kalanchoe down on the patio whose best feature is never needing to be watered (and doing pretty well, flowering even, with about an inch of rain since May)... I keep hacking at it and it keeps growing back. Green Grin! An excellent choice by the previous owner of our house.

I'm enjoying all your photos of fuzzy foliage plants but I don't have any. Sighing!

So here are my favorite fuzzies (Warning! Fondle with care).

Stenocereus hollianus cristata:

Cleistocactus strausii:
Thumb of 2018-02-15/DaisyI/44485c

NoID but I think its adorable and also the least pet-able of the three. I did get brave enough to repot it last summer. If I had to guess, some sort of Opuntia:

Can you tell I had plants in the 70's ! Everyone had plants and every one had one of these. A healthy Purple Passion/Purple Velvet Plant (Gynura aurantiaca) still is just a favorite of mine.

Plants in the 70's Rolling on the floor laughing Yep and purple plant passions as well.

I still love the look of the Gynura but if I recall the foliage was stinky! And the blooms were outrageously colored.

I am a touchy, feely plant person. Can't have thorns or foul smelling foliage. Whistling

I do like y'alls fuzzy plant collections though.
Be content moving inch by inch because, by days end, the inches, will add up to feet and yards.

Awesome pics, everyone! So enjoyable to see!

Faridat, sorry for the delay in replying to your question, and TY to the others for taking up the slack. The entry in the database shows the full name, K. beharensis 'Fang' (Genus species 'Cultivar'.)
Felt Plant (Kalanchoe beharensis 'Fang')

In addition to the cool "fangs" on the backs of the leaves, and as far as I've seen from others' that I've seen pics, 'Fang' leaves don't form the distinct lobes like the straight species, even when mature and blooming ...but this individual seems to be trying:

My only complaint about fuzzy leaves is when sand gets stuck in the fuzz.

Over the years, a lot of sand & other grit had accumulated in the fuzz of these 'Fang' leaves. I got so sad about looking at it, I "power washed" each leaf with a blast of water. Surprisingly, that did get them clean again, wish I had done it sooner! IDK if all fuzzy leaves could handle that, 'Fang' leaves are very tough & thick.

Pic about a week after cleaning the leaves.
