Plant ID forum: What plant is this? Its planted in a garden bed but may be a flower?

This is starting to come out of the garden bed. I have no idea what this is. I thought it may be a flower of some kind. We just bought this property and there is another bed next to it that may be flowers too!

I would wait until after they bloom to disturb.

I want to dig them all up! I have two big beds if these. These are in a fenced vegetable garden.

I was going to offer them to people on Craigslist for free. Which I have done before when we bought another plave where there were a ton of Iris everywhere.

Will it hurt them to just dig them out? Should I wait a few weeks?

I would wait for two reasons:

You may have something spectacular - you don't know what you're giving away.

Iris do best when divided after they bloom.
