Problem 1: Florida soil is very sandy and dries-out as soon as the water drains-away.
Problem 2: Florida sunshine will bake any containers dry in a day or two.
Problem 3: Water costs money and runs-off where we don't need it.
Normal solution: Run the irrigation every-other day, rain or shine to keep things alive when it's hot.
Our solution: Plants can grow inside large pots sunk into the ground and covered by mulch.
Solves problem 1 by using store-bought soil which lasts for years.
Solves problem 2 by hiding the sides of the pots below ground level where they stay cool.
Solves problem 3 by watering only the pots so it hits the spot where needed.
