If you're on Facebook you should post the pics and questions on the Planet Peony group, Oscar. There are several experienced grafters there, might have some advice to offer.

When taking cuttings of any plant (not peonies) we usually take off excess leaves so new roots are not trying to support many leaves right away. I wonder if your plant is telling you something similar? Just a thought on a couple of the leaves curling. Or could be too much light?

Thanks LG and Caroline
I've put them along with all my other plants in the mudroom which has a temperature of about10C.
My neighbor Dan will come by once a week for the next4 week to water them,so it's up to the gods of nature.
At present I am taking in all the tropical plant life in Sydney Australia

Grafts don't always take, even for the experts. They say if you get 50% success rate, you're doing quite well. So the more you do, the better your chances of getting a few.

Is this the post you were referring to, Oscar? How is that graft doing now?
