Hello,

I live in the Canary Islands. I have posted this question to different forums but it seems noone can help me to save my my Arabica plant. I like it so much...

I bought this coffee plant in Lidl supermarket ~1 year ago. First 2-3 months it was very beautiful with green shiny leaves but now all leaves are getting brown and falling. As you can see in my photos, all new leaves are beautiful and green but then after some time they become brown.

I also have problems with Tagetes. I have bought many times Tagetes plants and always have the same problem In 1-2 weeks they bocome as you can see in the photo.

Maybe it's the same disease on my coffee plant and on tagetes?

Thanks.

I don't think the problem is either a pest or a disease. It looks more like it is a root-related problem and that is likely a result of either damage done when repotted or by improper watering. Neither plant tolerates drought, so I suspect you have allowed the plants get too dry between waterings. No way to know without knowing your watering routine.

At this point, the Arabica would benefit by your pruning back the leggy stems.
