I live in zone 7. Is it too early to separate iris? My Mother's house is for sale & I would like to have some of her iris before it sales. The weather has been 'crazy warm' with highs n the upper 70s & lower 60s(F). Thanks

I would take them now, they are barely 'awake' from winter and should be fine.

I agree Do it now. You can plant them right away or keep them in pots.
