Ive had ky aloe vera for 6 months now and it was doing fine. But recently its new leaves are very weak and one has even bent in half and im not sure why. I try to make sure its not left sittining in water and i feed it every month and water it every 2 weeks. Any help would be really appreciated. Many thanks.

Welcome!

It looks to me as though it needs more light. I would also not feed it in winter. Are you in Portsmouth UK?

I agree
Also : does pot have drain hole ?
I would repot, it needs more soil. Use equal parts catus mix and perlite or chicken grit.
Water only when dry.

The newest growth is weak and, as Sue pointed out, that is because it has not been getting enough light. Keep it right on your sunniest windowsill.

Lack of a drain hole may keep the soil from drying out properly and Aloe is not tolerant of constantly damp soil. Rather than repotting, which can create new problems, use your finger or a wooden chopstick to make sure the soil is dry at least halfway to the bottom of the pot before watering.

I wondered about a drain hole too, but looking closely at the second picture it looks like the aloe is in a regular plastic flower pot set inside the decorative one.

You are right, Sue. Thumbs up It is double potted.

Ethan - pull up the inner plastic pot after each watering to make sure it is not sitting in excess water.
