I'm really confused. Is the plant I call "rosemary" used in cooking really part of the Salvia family? I never knew that( if we are talking about the same thing.) These pictures sure look like it.

I'm surprised as well. I didn't know about it till Zuzu tree mailed me about getting the rosemary plants added to the salvia database a month or two ago. I'm still getting use to it as a being part of the salvia family. I'm pretty sure Russian Sages (Perovskia) are now part of the salvia big family. Don't think Zuzu has had the chance to move them over yet.

Kristi, thanks. I just do a google search and look at pages of links for photos of the salvia of the day plant and try to pick the best ones, especially since there are a lot of salvias that don't have any photos in the database.
