I took this picture while walking a trail up in the mountains last spring. The person I was with said it looked like an "Indian Blanket", but I looked up pictures and they aren't quite the same? What is the correct name for this bloom?

Hi Rachel82493, Welcome!

I can't see the leaves clearly but the petals remind me more of Treasure Flower (Gazania)

@plantladylin and @pardalinum, thank you so much! The Gazania is much more aligned with what I know about my mysterious flower. And thank you for the warm welcome! Thank You!
