I would appreciate any advice on how to get my small Brazilian red cloak plant to grow successfully. How often should I water it, hours of sun or shade , should I leave it in the pot? I bought the small plant from a couple who grow many of these plants and were selling them in about a 1 gallon pot. They all had browning on the leaf edges except for some new leaves. I live in Southwest Florida - Port Charlotte area. Would it be better in the ground or keep it in the pot?

Thank you very much!

I've never seen one before so had to look it up. I found this information that I think answers all your questions:
