Need advise, this is my first prayer plant and it looks crowded. Should I split the plant up or just repot into a bigger pot? Any suggestions?

That is a very full good quality plant. I'm sure others will advise you to move it to a bigger pot based on its appearance.

My advice is to water it thoroughly and then see how long it takes for the surface of the soil to get almost dry. If it takes more than 3 days, then I suggest you leave it in that pot for now. This is especially true if you just acquired the plant and it is now adapting to its new environment and you don't want to add to its stress by repotting it now.

Don't repot. They seem to do better when a little crowded.
