Hi,
I want to transfer the 5 sprouted pinto seed into a pot for it to grow.I would like to know what type of soil I can buy from the store to put in the pot for the pinto seed to grow. Also is there any type of fertilizer I can buy to help it grow well.

Thanks

Buy something labeled potting mix; Miracle Gro brand is one, Scott's is another.

Anything marked potting mix will probably work for pinto beans.
Do not buy 'garden soil', that is meant for outdoors.

Miracle Gro also makes fertilizer for potted plants. Just a small package. Follow directions- BUT look at the potting mix bag carefully, because some say they include fertilizer.

The beans may not even need added fertilizer.

Thanks Sally.
I used the Miracle Gro potting mix. It worked fine.
