I didnt know where to put this and wanted to share
We have a well.
There is a bit of iron in it ..not much ..and sand too..
The filter is not successful in removing iron . The sand is captured.

The grout in the bath is an off white..lately its been looking salmon colored..or flesh colored..like the crayola crayon.. ...It's that rotten iron. Grrrrr

I am wacky about the tile..but it does not matter how hard I work....I still don't get the soap scum off to my satisfaction..(My satisfaction is LIKE NEW) .. .

Anyway, I bought this product called RUST OUT on amazon. Its a spray ..not a foam. Red and white container. I think the grout looks better. BUT it melted the soap scum off the tile! No kidding! And it did not asphyxiate me either. Hot DOG!!! 😊 And it did not hurt the porcelain ( floor) or ceramic tile ( wall and ceiling)) I did not let it hit the metal fixtures. It remains on for less than a minute.

Don't squat with yer spurs on!

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved

I have tried everything..and every kind of scrubber/ sponge ....and I just dont have the power to scrub hard like I used to.

Today in the light I can see even the grout is its normal shade ...this was a great find...!!! I bet I can finnd it cheaper too. It was $5.98 no shipping with Amazon Prime

I see Ebay sells it, but didn't look to see what the cheapest is. It sounds good. We don't have rust, but we do have soap scum that I'd love to see melted away!

I found out , awhile back now, that bleach does not remove iron stains from fabric.
Tanta had a bottle of Iron Out, ooold one in the basement. Took the iron stain out of an old dish rag with one washing.
