I've scraped most of the moss off the paving slabs but now I'm stuck for cheapish ways to make it look nicer. Particularly with that odd area in photo 1 where the concrete is not smooth (I can't afford to resurface it) any ideas are much appreciated!

The paver area looks cute, the parking pad is obviously functional, you're right, the cracked concrete and rough, dirt?, area needs help.
There's a drainage grate there?
Can you take the concrete out?
Would you want to plant in ground? Or maybe cover all that with mulch, or stone? Then put potted plants on that?

It looks to be a perfect place for a container garden, especially climbers that could adorn the walls.
