Throw rocks at them I suppose. Are they causing damage? I used to have many more crows that I do now. I do have lots more jays (Stellar), not sure what dynamic that reflects. The jays are prettier than the crows, but I kind of like the crows better.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

Short of putting a fence overhead, you can't completely deter crows. Crows are as intelligent as 6-8 year old people on some measures, and more intelligent than dogs and great apes on others.

The reason they're associated with cunning and omens in all cultures is because they "know about us." They possess theory of mind and they know that we know it. Caw.
Keep going!
