I stopped in to Trader Joe's in Gaithersburg on a whim. I picked up 4 NOID Hellebore for . . . [b]$9.99 each[b]!

I'm not talking plugs either. These are 6-inch pots in full bloom, standing 12-14 inches tall. The flower is white with a pink tint.

I was so tempted to buy all that they had, but stopped at 4. (They had 2 dozen of them.)

The also had some nice looking pots of calla lilies (pinky-orange, purple and white), also for $9.99 each.

It figures that this would happen 2 days after payday. But, as my next paycheck isn't for 2 weeks, I had no choice but resist. I'm really trying hard to not use my credit cards unless it's an emergency. So far, I've managed to go for 14 months. (I'm still in recovery mode from being out of work for a year+.)
