I wish people would stop calling me drawing me into their problems. I have to learn how to say NO!

I have a ex-neighbor calling wanting a ride here and there.
I have an ex-co-worker that does not even live in the same state as me asking to borrow money because her bank was hacked.

Don't these people have family? My daughter is a little meaner than me she said tell them

The sad thing is, many people do not have family nowadays.

Some seniors have family, but none willing to help them.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White

You're both right, Frilly and Linda. It's very sad.
There is a movement right now that is spreading around the country. It's a wonderful idea, and I hope there will soon be more of these groups. Too many seniors need help, and don't have the money to hire it from the typical agencies.

There is a growing movement of people who were raised bounced around in foster homes, and when they age out, they have no one, no family. They have no one to celebrate holidays or birthdays ect or anyone to help them with learning to cook, or loan them money or help them in an emergency. They don't really have anybody to help them with a wedding or a first baby, ect. All the things people w a family take for granted, it can be over whelming doing it all your own.
