They both look like the same cultivar to me as well.
Having multiple images from widely different climates is one of the most valuable aspects of this site. Ironically, with far too many cultivars, the hybridizer's registration photo tends to be the least helpful when trying to identify a daylily.
Looking into the database photo info for Days of Wine, both images come from Canada, but one appears to be from a coastal garden, while the other was taken further inland. The color and form variations are consistent with their respective climates.
