Wondering how this thread attaches to this plant. Started reading the thread but didn't get very far...it's all about how big your iris order is in relation to property size. I tip my hat to you.

I suspect it is because the common name is mentioned in one post in that thread. So the algorithm that tries to associate threads with plants in the database has included it.

Last I heard, @Dave had improving this algorithm on his to-do list. Not sure when that will happen, though.

There are two Iris with the word kangaroo in the name and they are one of the more or most talkative forums so that would make sense. I could test this theory but I won't. I tip my hat to you.

I found why the thread is connected. The only two cultivars with both the words pearl and bush were attached. The other was Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Pearl Bush')

Hilarious! actually, I think there are photos of kangaroo paws, planted along a walkway (growing with irises) somewhere in this thread...if I remember right
