A friend and I are coeditors of our local rock garden society newsletter, The Alpine Line. We are working on a humorous article called Murphy's Laws for Gardeners. Here are a couple we have come up with
1. Deer will eat only the most expensive plants and leave the weeds.
2. When sowing seeds, plants that are like weeds will germinate like hair on the back of a dog while the seed of the most desirable will sulk, produce only a few seedlings or not germinate at all.
e. A gardener will tend to loose his favorite tool!
4.The most desirable plants will be the first to succomb to drought, summer humidity mugs, early frosts and other weather abnormalities
Anyone have other suggestions
