Also if we happen to get a bit of snow, makes for garden interest.

Those are 2 different seedlings. Have more around the garden but these are the best looking in my eyes.

I have them coming up everywhere in the semp beds. 'Hab Gray' has seeded all over the heuffelii bed.

Julia, do you ever see this from your 'Ice Ruffles'? There are three different plants coming from the same root ball.

My 'Ice Ruffles' has completely lost all verigation. So sad! Last year it had one variegated stem, was going to cut last fall and winter over in the greenhouse but forgot. Thumbs down

So if you look at my photo, which of the two smaller ones are the real 'Ice Ruffles'. The one to the right?
Maybe I should remove it and propagate it away from the rest?

Okay, I will remove both of the small plants and see if I can get them to grow.
I am finding that the best variegated one I have is 'Elsie's Gold'. I have had it for years and it has remained a strong healthy plant without any reverting.

I agree Frosty Morn is a weak grower and Samual oliphant reverted on me years ago too.

Good to know. I will stay away from those. Do you have 'Elsie's Gold'?

I moved them this afternoon. Now I hope they make it. They are so small and weak.

Hello all! I have a sedum rubrotinctum that was in my daughters dish garden for her 4H project. It came back not so good looking Sad it has lost a lot of leaves and is growing hairlike roots out of the nodes and got very stretched. I am encouraged to see some teeny new growth at the ends and have some babies growing from dropped leaves currently. Is there anything y'all recommend as far as getting this guy back in shape? And also, the new teeny baby plants are seeming to stall out when they get about the size of half a pencil eraser. How should I be taking care of these itty bitty guys? Thanks in advance for any info Smiling
