Phloral alphabetization is phun, I guess, but we are drawing up to the biggest and often the smallest letters in botanical taxonomic names. Ps are huge, and Qs are well, not huge. You can look it up! Here are some Ps and Q's for the cauldron of horticultural nomenclature. Peonies (Sequestered Sunshine) and poppies. ![]() Ponds, small (ex-pool) and large (confluence of the Columbia and Kootenay Rivers) ![]() And, my one Q that I have handy at the moment.... I just removed the last picture above due to the realization that it wasn't mine. It was next to a pic of mine that I thought might have have been used in H. Pics note who posted them at the bottoms and I thought it said jmorth, in reality, it said moth (a newer member). Nothing that's been done can ever be changed. |

Philodendrons Pitcher Plants ![]() I was given the above seed pod by my ex who lives in Houston, I flew it home and set it on my desk. One night, kind of late it twisted, and exploded scaring the crap out of me. I must of jumped nearly out of my chair. I finally got my breath back when I noted scattered seeds on the desk.
