Thread OP
Mandeville, LA
A plant was given to me that has green oblong leaves outlined in yellow. It closes its leaves in the evening and open up in the morning. It is about 2 1/2 feet tall.
I was wondering what it is and how to care for it.

Possibly Senna alata which has the ability for the leaves to close shut at night.

Nyctinasty is the circadian rhythmic nastic movement of higher plants in response to the onset of darkness.
