We love to talk about all aspects of weather, the effect on our gardens, and on our lives. It's a good place to keep a record of weather in our gardens from year to year too, so for that reason let's try to stay as close to the topic as we can. Please join us and tell us about your weather.

Starting off with 5 above this morning, we're on a roll, gaining 5 degrees each day Rolling my eyes. Clear sky with a lot of stars this morning, too, so maybe we'll have another day of blue skies and sun.

Cloudy. Northeast wind around 10 mph.

Ginny,
ROTFL! Of course bang the gong sent me to T-Rex and now I hear that song in my head.

Margaret,
48° had to feel good!

Char,
We are all staying chilly right now. It should hit 70° or better for me sometime this month. Just for a day or two.
Thanks for the new thread! LOVE lilacs!!! I hope you get your sunshine!

Linda,
Going from nice to hot is a shock for all of us.

Dana,
Yeah, I think Ginny deserves an "I'll get you my pretty."
Oh crap on your snowstorm!

Barbara,
Laughing! Soon we'll all be bragging about our warmer temps. Enjoy!

I bought chess set. Not just a set, but one that came with Parcheesi, backgammon, checkers, Chinese checkers, tic tac toe, and pick up sticks. I may be learning new games.
The paper with instructions smells like formaldehyde or something. I'm going to leave it out to air out.

It is currently 14 F with a projected high of 32 F (-10 C and 0 C ). The sun is shining, though, and there is warmth in the sun now. After today, the forecast calls for temperatures above freezing, so we should see some melting soon! Crossing Fingers!

Sure doesn't seem like Spring here. It gets more raw and damp as the afternoon wears on. We are waiting on the snow of another nor'easter to arrive maybe 6 and then go all night and all day Wednesday and then Wednesday night ending Thursday. Should be a doozy!! Grumbling

Well my thermometer got so excited that today was the first day of spring it went all the way up to 43 Big Grin Much warmer than "they" said we'd be. It felt so good.

The images for both, weather and swing, were from last spring. Can't wait to smell the lilacs and see the allium blooming. The sparaxis is really cool looking Kelli. Love the color and pattern.

Sorry Rita. Crying We aren't suppose to get anything but maybe a few clouds from this one. If you shovel please be careful, the snow will be wet and very heavy.

Just heard the weather siren go off, and the hazardous weather had already moved through last night! Rolling my eyes. Rolling my eyes. Of course there was no siren to be heard during last night's actual hazardous weather warnings! Glare Glare I think someone fell asleep at the button! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

I shovel when there is not too much but this forecast is for 12 inches and up so I will not be shoveling. I have my grass cutting guys come and shovel when its lots of snow like this.

Snowing all night. Been light but going to continue all day and all night again. They say the heavy bands of snow are coming all afternoon.

Actually it just started coming down in big heavy flakes instead if the tiny almost ice like pellets we had been having.

I am just so sick of all the snow I could scream!! Forecast for at least 12 inches but probably higher. Enough already!! Grumbling
