Thanks everyone for the daughter birthday wishes. I tip my hat to you.

Kelli, that's good that you got more rain, I hope you get some more before the rainy season ends. Crossing Fingers! . Thumbs up

Dark overcast here, 42F, had a shower overnight, big change this afternoon as a cold front moves in, may get thunder and lightning, or snow showers. Blinking

I am ignoring the snow and hoping it melts quickly. The storm is over and the sun is shining brightly.

We have had snow in March other years, even in April but it's unusual.

Hoping we are really done for the season but they are taking about another possibility on Sunday. I feel like spring just never wants to get here!!

Thank goodness my snow shoveling guys came and shoveled as it was too much for me to do. The snow is the wet heavy type and it's still clinging to tree branches and shrubs.

Turned out to be a pretty nice day. We did still have some morning clouds from the storm but they cleared out by 10am and it was sunshine from then until now as the sun has slipped behind the mountains. Morning temp was a warm, compared to earlier in the week, 28 and the high went to 47. The snow appears to have settled a bit more, still a lot left to melt.

Oh no, I hope you don't get more snow on Sunday Rita. Shoveling deep wet heavy snow is really rough on the body. You don't realize how hard your heart is working until you stop and feel it pounding in your chest. Glad the snowshovelers came and dug you out. Thumbs up

I think we are all sick of snow this year. Of course DH had to remind me last night that we still need to get our "sugar snow" and once the grass is ready to grow "poor man's fertilizer" which is usually the last snow for the season.

We broke a record today hitting 91. Surprising because we had a lot of clouds much of the day.

Today will be mostly sunny and 38 at the airport. We'll be a little warmer here. So the temps for the next few nights will be in the 20's and the daytime highs will rise each day and reach 50 on Monday with the sun shining today, partly sunny tomorrow, and back to full sun on Sunday and Monday! Hurray! Hurray!

We'll see how things morph as the days go by Hilarious! Hilarious!

We are expecting more snow here over Easter weekend but shouldn't be as much as the last two lots, it is expected to hit Scotland and the North of England but you never know, they might be wrong! Crossing Fingers!

Dry but grey here today.

A 50 percent chance of rain, mainly after 2 pm. Mostly cloudy. East wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Valerie,
It looks like a slow melt for you.

Ginny/Dana,
ROTFL!

Nikki,
I'm sorry you'll be getting more snow.
Yikes on snow and in a tent. Brrr!

Linda,
Heat rises so there's hope for those North of you, lol!

Margaret,
If it has to be overcast, it might as well rain.

Rita,
I can have snow in April too.
I'm glad you had help shoveling. Comes a time to just let someone else do it.

Char,
That's why I don't mind the last snows. Snow just has different nutrients than rain. It's it's only saving grace...

Getting the yahoos late tonight since Carly has dance practice. It might be snowing by then.

Currently it's 36 with a high of 55 today. 80% chance of showers per one website, another website said a bit of rain. Shrug!

@billyporter and @legalily
Ginny and Sally, I take it you two are out of range of the snow storm that is coming out of the northern plains and right through Iowa today?

It got up to 66F yesterday. They are calling for a high of 63F. I think it will get warmer, but it doesn't need to. It is supposed to be on the hot side the middle of next week.

No rain yesterday during the day or up till 11:00 pm,. We did get a bit of rain last night because there are a few puddles in the driveway but for the most part the driveway is dry.
Currently it's 34 with a high of 54. Yesterday the weather report said 100 % chance of rain today, now it's 50%. Thumbs down
I think the next 10 days are expected to be dry. Sighing! and a few days of 78 to 80.

I've been out of town for a few days so I missed the 8 inches of snow midweek. And it has been sunny and warm enough to melt my hill of a driveway! Hurray!

My daffodils by the sidewalk usually are blooming by my birthday (yesterday) but due to the chilly last few weeks this is all I have for you so far Linda. You'll just have to wait a bit more for your daffodil pics.

I will toss in a hellebore for you since I know you are partial to red @quietyard
