These are some that I purchased from Mountain Crest Gardens with gift certificate I had received from a friend.

Oh Wilma, that photo makes me do the happy dance. Hurray!
Each one is a beautiful jewel of a plant. I keep going back and looking at your photo. It would be wonderful if you could post photos of how you are using them.

Karen, it looks like it is Painted Echeveria (Echeveria nodulosa). It is a wonderful plant.

Thanks! For some reason I've always lost every echeveria I've had. I don't own a single one. :(

This one is a easy one, at least for me. Until I left it outside over the winter. And it is a fast grower.

Greg, I think some one gave Wilma a gift certificate. But yes, MCG has been participating in our NGA "Not-A-Raffle-Raffle".

Karen, I think MGC has them right now. The blooms are so beautiful. https://mountaincrestgardens.c...

And yes, you don't want to over water them. I let mine dry out before watering again.

Okay, my mail just arrived, and in the mailbox was a very big box from Amazon. I asked Cliff if he ordered something, nope.
I wracked my brain thinking "How could I order something and not remember it?".
Does this mean the trip is on to Mountain Crest Gardens?

Karen, this is my E. nodulosa from MCG 3 or 4 years ago. It came as a tiny, very healthy plant late spring, and by September this is what it grew to. By the beginning of December it was huge, I didn't get a photo of it then.

And it is very yummy. Just came in to make a glass of it to take back out in the garden.

Karen, I'm glad you brought this up about the E. nodulosa. I need to make a note for myself to order another one from MCG next spring. Next year I will bring it indoors so winter weather doesn't kill it. I really loved that plant.

I'll be doing the same thing. I don't have room in the greenhouse for anything else this winter.
