Insect and Bug ID forum: caterpillar ID - found in Savannah, GA

My granddaughter found this caterpillar & wants me to help her id it. She found this one on a rose plant, but says she's also seen them on palm and other trees. She lives in Savannah, GA. Thanks for your help!

Rose Inch Worm?? It was on a rose bush? The clue would be to see if the edges of some leaves are eaten away!

Classic Eastern tent color and long seta, inch worms are pretty naked.
