Hello everyone,
Can you please tell me what is the name of this plant and how can I care for it? Been watering it every week, but some tips of the leaves are turning brown...
Palm like leaves, tiny spikes pointing down on the stems...
Thank you in advance!

It looks like a fan palm. Not sure of the Latin. Does the pot have drain holes?

@Zencat, no, it's a ceramic pot.

It is a Mediterranean Fan Palm or ‎ ‎Chamaerops Humilis. It does best close to a sunny window but will tolerate reduced light better than other Palm species.

It is hard to provide watering instructions because of the way it is potted in what appears to be a sealed ceramic planter. If so, any excess water will collect in the bottom and start to suffocate the roots. To avoid that, allow the top half-inch of soil to get dry before adding just enough water so that the soil reaches that level of dryness again in about a week. You will have to experiment a bit to determine what the right amount is.

If it is double-potted, which is preferable, then lift up the inner pot as you water and stop as soon as you see a small bit of water trickle through.

The discolored leaf tips are not serious and hard to avoid altogether because either under or over watering or too little light can cause leaf tipping.
