Let's see what you've done!

This is on the side of my greenhouse, facing east but there's only a few feet between it and the house, so it's a tricky spot, with just a few hours of mid-day sun. I'll be adding more, especially danglers, but this is stage 1 I guess.

This window box was planted up about 5 years ago and I had sedums and small evergreen shrubs in it. In the spring I would plant violas for extra color.

Now the window box has given up the ghost. Sad Me thinks I need to replace it asap. Hilarious!

I've added some plants to the box on the right, but mostly smaller plants & dangling Commelinaceae family members. I don't want to block much light coming through that window because there are mad propagations happening inside.

I know more people have window boxes. Break out the pics!

I just have these two which I plant with petunias from seed I have collected last fall. When you collect petunia seed you never know what colour of bloom you're going to get. All these were collected from the same coloured easy wave plant.

No window boxes here but I love every single one shown here!

there are mad propagations happening inside.
Hmmm... this could be interesting! Whistling

@j52 ~ love the petunias. Mine reseeds but I've only grown one. A fragrant dark purple and it has only delivered more of the same. I suspect the Waves are ?hybrid? so they will be a surprise. Still ever so pretty! Lovey dubby
Be content moving inch by inch because, by days end, the inches, will add up to feet and yards.

J52, I love those Petunias!

Kristi, I LOVE the scent of Petunias when they have one. The only ones I notice around here are patches of them in the landscape in early spring. They are lovely, but not like any sold in stores. I don't think they can take the heat. I bought a few the first few years I lived here, but none lasted very long into the heat.

The one Coleus was blocking too much sun right in front of the window, so there was a trim. Looking like this now.

What are others' windowboxes doing?
