Quite an open ended question. My guess is that a possible feature that caught your eye was that it will drape over a rock wall or other container edge. It does this quite well if that's what you're after. Also, as the description that Sally linked states, it will "try" to be evergreen during the winter. It certainly browns out some here in CO. My guess is that it might retain a little more green in your area, but I have no personal experience.
