This plant randomly sprouted from the soil I was using and I separated it in a cup and has been growing since but I can't figure out what plant it is.

Hi Uni_ Welcome!

It might be easier to identify if you can get rid of the purple light and show the plant in a more natural light.

Compare to Glechoma hederacea: Creeping Charlie (Glechoma hederacea)

If it is determined that your plant is that one, your seedling image would make a wonderful addition to the database entry.

it looks like ground ivy aka Creeping Charlie, and is VERY invasive here, but it does root shallow and pulls out easily where you don't want it. It is not evergreen. but greens up early. Stays low to the ground w not much height. The pests here don't seem to bother it, and it will grow in the shade. Doesn't like the sun here.

Looks like catnip: rip a leaf and take a sniff!
