'Woodside Romance' is a dormant diploid introduced in 1995 by Apps.
It has earned the following AHS awards:
Honorable Mention: 2000

|I recall it being more like 23" inches here. It (is) was a nice diploid, a little smaller than I would have preferred. It was reasonably budded and vigorous, but I think it is past tense, as I eliminated it for some reason.
Here is a pic with an old camera. A bit too bluish, probably because it was taken too early in the morning.

|Will have to check when it is not muddy in the garden to see if this one is still here as I got rid of some diploids. This one grew and increased well with lovely blooms it is on the shorter side, sill it makes a beautifully colored blooming clump.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!

|WOODSIDE ROMANCE is wonderful old pink. It frequently throws polytepal blooms. It grows and increases well. I remember when it was introduced by MR. APPS and fell in love with the picture of it in his catalog. I would agree with Mantis that it could be a little taller.
