Hi everyone, I'm in zone 7b and I've been growing 5 trays of impatiens under lights for the last 8 weeks and was wanting to harden them off outside over the space of 2 weeks.

Question is can I harden the impatiens off in the shade only under a shade cloth (while slowly increasing amount of time spent outside) or do they need some sun also?

Thanks

They need sun, but do that gradually so they don't burn.
