Name: greene Savannah, GA (Sunset 28) (Zone 8b) I have no use for internet bullies!
I found this beautiful plant. The leaves and blooms look like a type of Fabaceae, but I have not figured out what it is. The plant is about 24-30 (?) inches tall; the stems look purple.
It's growing where construction will take place soon and I'd like to rescue it (with permission of course). Thanks. These are the best images I could get using my phone.

I think I see what you mean. Our database has 3 listings for Baptisia lactea and I wonder if the var. lactea and var. pendula need to be merged into the B. lactea entry?
Catalogue of life only shows two accepted names:
Baptisia lactea - Species - accepted name
Baptisia lactea var. obovata (Larisey)Isely - infraspecific taxon - accepted name
The entire Baptisia genus in our database may need looking at; I noticed a few at the CoL that are not currently in our database. @zuzu may be able to help.
