Sadly my son passed away last year and I moved to my other son's property last December. This spring I had two iris beds built to move my irises to this place. My son has two acres so he has plenty of room for iris beds. Due to advancing age I have to hire help now, but at least I now have someone who will weed for me, at a price of course. Here is my problem, we mislabeled my namesake iris, so I don't know where it is even if I still have it anymore. So anyone with the tall bearded iris "Dorothy Parker" by Tom Burseen would you please consider selling me some? It is extremely difficult to find. Country Delight Iris used to sell it but they are no longer in business or just deleted their website. Here are my two new iris beds. I moved all my favorites to these beds. First picture is my son's house and I live in an apartment behind him. Last picture is Dorothy Parker tall bearded iris.

Thanks everyone for your super fast replies. I will have no iris bloom this year due to moving my irises in March. Hopefully with the new beds they will bloom some next year. We had some good rain but they still have to go through a long hot summer here. I will enjoy everyone else's pictures.

It's too bad that Tom himself doesn't have room to keep all his iris. But he has registered so many there wouldn't be room for his seedlings. I sure hope someone is able to find it for you Dot.

I do have some more on the way, to fill that last bed with. I gave many away that had the names lost or were mixed in with others. I hate not having the name. Since those pictures were taken, more were planted.

My condolences on your son Dorothy. I had been going to a lot of the Iris Society of Dallas sales and shows. Due to their proximity many of their members have lots of Burseens in their own home gardens. I am not sure if you tried them or not. Maybe they could put the word out to their membership. Just trying to help.
