Ok so sorry if this is a lot of information but i need some advice. I will try to make this understandable :P I redid my garden this year. It is 15'x10' and last year i had rows of potting mix (about 9 bags) in it. I live in south georgia and the "soil" is mostly just sand. So i boxed out this 15x10 foot area, cleared what i could of the black weed block i had there and tilled the area. It mixed the sand, dead grass, weeds and old potting mix all together. I did about 3 passes to make sure it was all tilled really well. I then added 10 bags of the miracle grow to my garden and 2 bags of the evergreen to my garden and tilled it all really well again. Now all the dead grass, sand, mixture and everything is all mixed together. It didn't seem good enough for me, so i had my mom go to Lowes and buy 10 bags of compost and manure to add to it. Well she ended up getting 10 bags of the robin hood stuff and im not sure if i can add that to the garden. Everything i tried to find out about it, it seems to be a LAWN manure. Is there anyone who can tell me if i can use this manure in my garden :( I am growing watermelon, squash, zuchini, radishes and 2 tomato plants ![]() ![]() ![]() |

It's fine. Either till it in or leave it on top of the soil. Here's some info http://hoodlandscape.com/compo... ![]() ![]() Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds you plant.--Robert Louis Stevenson |
