Great banner, Paul. Thumbs up

Mexican (?) Evening Primrose.......one of my favorite invasive species. Green Grin!

At my previous home, it was a problem, and difficult to control, but I love the pink blooms. They seem
to glow in the right light. I have it growing in one area now, and just cut it back when it's done blooming.
They take very little water, and poor soil.

I've tried to establish it in other parts of the garden, but it seems happy in just one small area.

Seems to working for you, too. Smiling

Nice banner Paul!
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

We used to call them Buttercups...what did we know? But I've always loved them! I've been seeing them everywhere I go lately. Oenothera speciosa. I wonder why many common names include "evening primrose" when it also blooms in daytime?
