Another question about AVs. What are you suppose to do with orginal leaf you use to grow new av? Most of them look pretty funky once the babies pop up. Happy Gardening :-) |

They eventually wither and die. I ignore them until they do but I am never in a hurry to separate the plantlets from the mother leaf. As long as that leaf is green and healthy, it is providing the plantlets with nourishment.
