Just came home with 9 new clematises. Fred Meyer (Seattle) surprised me with their selection and prices. They sell 2.5'' pots from Home of Clematis for just $4.99 about 20 different varieties. Nice and healthy, lots of roots. I couldn't resist and now thinking how to accommodate these newbies. I hope this information could be useful for someone else.

Jackpot! That is a fantastic find. It is hard to control onself with prices like that. Last year I got lucky with $2.49 gallon sized clearanced clematis at Meijer grocery store. I ended up with 3 and hope I get lucky again this year lol!
