Began growing in late Fall, survived the Western Washington winter, and has taken over the pot. Nothing we ever planted...assume was transported there by critter or nature.
Name: Daisy I Reno, Nv (Zone 6b) Not all who wander are lost
The stems are smooth and I see purple spots - Poison Hemlock. These two plants are very similar in appearance but one is edible and one will kill you and they both live equally well on the west coast.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost
