Thread OP

I've been a customer of Santa Rosa Gardens for years. Their plants are generally very good and when I've had a problem, I received an immediate reply and the issue was fixed. They have a great fall clearance sale and when you're on their mailing list, frequent discount coupons. Brushwood Nursery is another superior nursery, love their vines. I haven't traded with the other companies......yet!
This is the second raffle I'm participating in...good luck to my 4 little acorns.

What a great selection of prizes from such generous vendors! Hurray! Hurray!

I've been fortunate to receive roses from Perfect Plants and can attest that they send nice sized healthy specimens. In addition to that, they also add a small packet of Nutricote fertilizer to help get your newly acquired plants off to a great start. Now that's a vendor who cares about the success of their products. Also, on two different occasions, they have gone out of their way to see that I receive exactly what I want, even though initially, the error was on my end. High praises for and many thanks to Perfect Plants.

I agree !!!

And I received a gift from Hollingsworth Peonies. I thought it would be one root, but it was two beautiful and healthy roots! I adore peonies, but they've always been too expensive for me to purchase so winning this was wonderful.

BUT, the best part of it all was how helpful the Hollingsworth people were. I freaked out when I received them because, for a newbie, it's difficult to tell where the crown is, how or where to place the little eyes, and choosing a location was really difficult. But they helped so much and I just can't wait to see how they do this season. I thought it was above and beyond for them to be so helpful even though I hadn't spent a penny on their peonies. Very special people. Thumbs up

Oh, and yes, all the members in the Peonies forum have been wonderful and helpful too. Group hug

Good luck to all the participants!

Hey! I didn't notice until now, but @jmorth is teaming up with @dave to give 100 total acorns to each of three winners too! Wow! That's more than usual, and a lot of acorn loot! Hurray!

I harvested some of my acorns from the last two raffles and turned them into tickets. I am hoping to get a plant prize one time.
But heck, if I never win another raffle, I won twice already. That is perhaps more then some, less than many, but it mattered not!
The real fun is in participating! Seeing the raffle winning coupons between those little piggy toes!! Rolling on the floor laughing
That is where it is people, that is what it is all about.
BUT I will support our vendors when I need plants for my new place! I can plant probably around May7-15, I move in April 30th. The timing could NOT be any better.

I've ordered from Perennial Obsessions and can tell you they ship wonderful, healthy plants. They have a very good selection of them. I'd highly recommend them, so whoever wins the prize from them will be very happy.

All of the vendors are great. I don't know if Dave has to do some arm twisting or what, but he always finds some very generous vendors out there.

And they do. I don't know how you find / choose them, but they all seem to provide not only excellent products, but the best customer service ever. Thumbs up

I'm glad to know that you don't have to offer your first born child. 😝
