I had a lemon seed planted in the soil for 1 week. It would not sprout, so i gently dug it out to see if it actually sprouted or not. It hadn't. I put the seed back in, and two days later, there is a small stem coming out. Should i be worried that my plant will be endangered because i previously dug it out?

It sounds to me as if the little plantlet didn't mind at all.
